Our Vaughan clients requested a drastic transformation of their traditional, walled-off main level. The goal was to eliminate the formal dining room partition to make way for an expansive, high-end culinary environment optimized for both professional-grade cooking and large-scale hosting.
We stripped the main level down to the studs, removing two major load-bearing walls and installing flush-mounted recessed beams to create a perfectly flat, uninterrupted ceiling plane. To support the high-power appliances, we completely upgraded the electrical infrastructure and integrated a sophisticated smart lighting grid.
The centerpiece is a stunning double-island configuration featuring book-matched Calacatta porcelain surfaces and champagne-gold hardware accents. Custom floor-to-ceiling millwork conceals integrated luxury appliances, providing a minimalist, premium showroom finish that matches the client's design standards.
